ContactLab, a company leader in direct email marketing, has recently conducted a survey on attitudes and behaviors of use of email and mailing list of Italian and Spaniards.
From the data come to light that in Spain there are 32 million active email accounts, on average 2 for each Internet user. Every day are send 350 million messages, roughly 23 for each user. Reduced numbers, if compared to those ones recorded in Italy, with 51 million active email accounts and a number of 420 million daily messages that are sent.
Another interesting fact is the one concerning the use of the email box: only 25% of Spaniards claims to only use a mail reader, while the 70% read their mail also through browser.
The age seems to influence much in the way of email fruition, which is used by peopleĀ from 35 to 45 years.
